Service Description
This course is designed to cater for basic first aid incidents in smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks. This is a one day (6 hour) course which equips candidates with the knowledge and skills to manage an incident until professional help arrives. This course fulfils the requirement of The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Please see course description for full details. Duration: 1 day (6hrs) Venue: Plas Madoc Leisure Centre. Llangollen Road, Acrefair, Wrexham. LL14 3HL. Dates: Mon 23rd Nov 2026 Times: 9.00am – 4.00pm. Minimum Age: 16yrs
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation All requests for cancellations must be received in writing or by email. Notice received prior to the start date of the course (Refund applicable) 14 calendar days or more - 75% refund Between 2 and 14 calendar days (inclusive) - 50% refund Up to 48 Hours - No refund will be given Failure to attend - Treated as late cancellation and no refund given Attendance All courses require 100% attendance. Please check the dates and times of your course and ensure you are able to attend fully prior to booking. All courses have a review/consolidation time component built in, which means that accommodation can be made for minor one-off absences (e.g. arriving late or needing to leave early) however, more significant absences may not be recoverable during the course and in all instances the minimum number of contact hours must be met in order to validate the award.
